Thanks to his 25 years’ experience in the restaurant branch (see 90 years` history) , Angelo Enrico Cerutti opens his first Bar Tea Room in Chiasso at the end of 1960 and becomes promoter of the culture of the real Italian espresso coffee on the Swiss market until 1990.

Angelo Enrico’s son, Massimo, grounds his own individual Company in 1985, which becomes Massimo Cerutti SA in 1995 and builds an excellent network of customers that still today serve and successfully promote the brand CERUTTI “il Caffè”.

The company offers its customers balanced and aromatic coffee blends, obtained thanks to a slow and gradual roasting with traditional method, which enhances the aroma of the real espresso coffee and other coffee preparations.

The quality of the coffee blends is constantly checked, both in the production unit and in the different bars owned by Cerutti, where expert bartenders serve daily 'il Massimo del Caffè”, relating directly with customers in sales points.
